The Technical Compliance Manager will take a lead role in overseeing and managing all technical regulatory audit and change management activities across multiple jurisdictions. This includes tracking, scheduling, and ensuring the timely delivery of all audit and compliance obligations in line with regulatory requirements. The role will also support business growth by analysing technical regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and contributing to market entry assessments, ensuring that new markets are evaluated effectively from a technical compliance perspective.
Working closely with compliance, product, and technical teams, the role is responsible for maintaining robust audit and change management frameworks, identifying gaps or weaknesses, and implementing effective solutions to ensure ongoing compliance. The Technical Compliance Manager will also manage internal tracking systems, ensure clear communication of deadlines and progress to stakeholders, and liaise with external auditors as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead role in tracking, scheduling, and project managing all periodic regulatory audits (technical) and ensuring that all internal and external deadlines are consistently met
- Lead role in tracking, managing, and reporting on Change Management in line with the relevant requirements ensuring that all internal and external deadlines are consistently met
- Analyse technical regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and support market entry assessments, including identifying gaps and key compliance considerations
- Work closely with the wider compliance team and relevant product/ technical teams to achieve the above with minimal friction and clear communication
- Manage internal audit tracking and documentation databases and keep all stakeholders up to date on upcoming deadlines and completion dates
- Communicate gaps or weakness identified in our Change Management control systems to management along with proposed solutions
- Monitoring management’s responses and implementation of agreed management actions
- Setting and promoting high standards of audit work and ensuring high standard quality audit reports are delivered consistently
- Suggesting beneficial changes to audit methodologies and procedures
- Working to identify significant process and structure improvements to assist the business in meeting its objectives
- Liaising with external auditors as required
Skills and Requirements
- Online gaming experience (B2B or B2C)
- Regulated market experience (e.g. UK, Denmark, Spain)
- Experience project managing technical audits in multiple regulated markets
- Experience and extensive knowledge of Change Management systems, requirements, and reporting obligations in multiple regulated markets
- Clear communicator (written and verbal)
- Highly organised and proactive
