Adam Pentecost, Director of Customer Success at Gaming Corps, on why he joined the rising star develop and how he will help deploy its ambitious plans to become a major player in the content provision space.

Congratulations on being appointed Director of Customer Success at Gaming Corps. Tell us more about the role and what it covers.

Thanks. So, this is a newly created role at Gaming Corps focused on maximising the performance of the business across the board and, as part of that, driving revenues. One of the first things I will do is undertake a health check on current performance and the status of key relationships to identify areas of improvement. From this, we can ensure our key partners are really maximising the potential of our portfolio, helping them and us to unlock additional opportunities and growth. I’m also going to formulate a strategy and structure that aligns with Gaming Corps’ rapidly evolving business ecosystem and environment. Over the years I’ve built a really great network of contacts which I’ll be leveraging to ignite valuable partnerships while bringing management exposure to help drive the commercial unit on to unprecedented hights. It’s a comprehensive role and I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and get stuck into it.

How will your past experience help you succeed in the role?

I’ve been working in the industry for more than a decade and for some of the most exciting and successful game studios including the likes of 1X2 Network, iSoftBet, Play’n GO, IGT and most

recently, Hacksaw Gaming. Three of the roles held have been in a Head of Commercial Account Management capacity and saw me lead teams across the world in places like the UK, Asia, Sweden, Romania and Malta. In those roles, I was tasked with building, formulating and enriching the commercial team. Throughout my years in the industry, I have been fortunate to gain extensive experience across a diverse array of areas that gaming providers must navigate to stay competitive. From regulated markets and emerging territories to aggregation distribution, the rise of crypto casinos, and the influence of streaming, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insights to Gaming Corps. I am particularly excited to reunite with Alex, Gaming Corps’ COO, as we collaborate once more after working together at a previous company.

What attracted you to Gaming Corps?

Gaming Corps has been riding a wave of growth but it’s time for the company to get to the next level and I really wanted to play a part in it doing just that. So, it’s not only a new chapter for my career, but also a new dawn for Gaming Corps which is really ramping up its expansion efforts. I join a very healthy business – market access and distribution are super strong but with lots of untapped potential to explore, we’ve shifted up a gear with the product roadmap with a higher cadence of game launches but also more innovation in the works with brand new product lines set for the months ahead. Gaming Corps is not just a slot provider, we have a diverse portfolio of games that promise memorable player experiences that challenge the status quo and bring something new to the table. What’s more, we are well capitalised with a commitment from the top to grow out the commercial unit so that it can effectively support and deliver on the needs and goals of the business.

Just how important is it for studios to being new products and innovative features to the market, especially in terms of opening the door to partnerships with operators?

Innovation is really important as operators are always looking for new content formats, exciting themes and never seen before bonus features to offer to their players. This needs to be balanced with a selection of proven games based around popular themes and with familiar mechanics, but for me, innovation certainly opens the door to discussions with operators. That’s why we complement our suite of slots with non-traditional games that use trademarked mechanics like Smash4Cash and X-MY-WAY. These mechanics excite operators who want to know more about what they are and how they work, and then from there we can also discuss our wider portfolio of content and package it all together so they get a nice mix of proven and innovative titles.

How do you help your operator partners get the most out of Gaming Corps’ extensive game portfolio?

We spend a lot of time getting to know the operator including the markets it targets and the profile of its players in each. From this, we can then determine which of our games are the best fit for each jurisdiction and the respective audience. This is why our portfolio is broad so that our partners can build a package of games that hit the mark with their players based on things like theme, RTP, volatility, mechanics and bonuses. Localisation is really important for our partners and it’s our responsibility to ensure we offer games to meet a wide range of preferences.

What can we expect from Gaming Corps in the coming months?

A lot! We’ve got some really great games leaving our production line with some unique mechanics and features that promise to get players on the edge of the seats. We will be going live with some big-name operators in core markets across the world, and we’ll generally be taking the next step in Gaming Corps’ journey from rising start to power player. So as the saying goes, watch this space.
